Last time I blogged was maybe around 2006? Back when Xanga was still around. Yeah, I'm pretty ancient. I decided to pick up blogging again since blogging somehow became popular again? Well, it's pretty popular at my church right now lol. Majority of the young adults at our church has one and let's just say I was peer pressured into it. Haha jk. I've been thinking about it. I know that when I used to blog, my grammer was pretty good. Now that I've graduated school I don't really have any reason to type up stuff anymore...besides posting the occasional status/twitter update in 140 characters or less. I'm sure that my grammer or whatever isn't good anyways...I'm just making excuses lol.
I was reading a couple posts I had back then and wow...a lot has changed lol. For one thing, I'm married! With a guy I never thought I was going to marry! Because I hated him in high school! What?! It's fascinating to see the different ways God will make Himself known to you. Out of all things...Jason. lol. But I'm extremely blessed to have him in my life :] I couldn't image my life without him. I wouldn't have known about SBCAC. I wouldn't have met the most amazing people of South Bay. Most importantly, I wouldn't have known God. I love spending time at church and doing anything with the church. Ah! God, You're amazing! :]
Anywho, another thing that has changed is my school status. I'm a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona! Woo! That was a long six years of college work lol. I've spent six years of my life studying about the music industry just to realize that working in the music industry isn't for me. It might have been for me when I wasn't saved, but after being exposed to it for a year it can be pretty harsh. Well...the people can be really harsh. It's a demanding industry that forces you to sometimes do whatever you can to get higher up the ladder. I wish I knew that in the beginning lol. Now I'm working in at a senior citizen health care company. Yeah, I don't really know what I'm doing there either lol. But I shouldn't complain because after applying to many entertainment companies, this company was the one that had an opening for me. I guess it was God's way of bringing me out of the entertainment biz. I did find many benefits of working here though. I'm able to listen to sermons all day. I can listen to about 6-7 sermons a day while reading my bible during the two 15 min breaks. That's a pretty good benefit right there. Another benefit of working here is that I actually have benefits! Medical benefits! lol. I wanted a job and God gave me this and I'm thankful for it :]
I'm looking forward to what other things God has in store for me :]

Hi Ann!-
Thanks for the add on FB. I saw your blog so decided to check it out. We have something in common. I was also in the music industry as well. I went to school for marketing and through highschool and college I wanted to be in that industry. I was able to get into a christian record label and concert promotion job (which I loved) but in the end God showed me it wasn't for me as well. The schedule was too demanding and my goals were starting to change. It just wasn't going to be a good career if I wanted to be a wife and later on a mom.
Crazy huh? Anyway, just thought I'd share since I thought that was cool we were both doing that and that's what we wanted to do, but in the end it just wasn't meant to be.
You should blog again. ;) ttyl!
